Solution: Try to eject the stuck disc manually.
3. When playing game DVD, it shows “NO Disc Inserted” or “Unrecognized Disc”
Official Solution: Delete the game app data and reinstall it. If failed, try PS4 safe mode options.
Solution 1: Clean your disc with a microfiber cloth. The disc reader is really sensitive to scratches and fingerprints.
Solution 2: If your disc is BF4, try another one. Some users report they just have problems only on BF4.

4. Unexpected game disc/DVD ejection and followed with no acceptation of the discs.

5. I have a PS4 & I was just wondering if it cud play regular DVD’s.

To hook it up, put the plugs in the correct area, Red goes in the red area, and so on
Find a DVD you want to watch.
Turn the PS4 on,(there should be a switch in the back) then click the reset (green) button.
A menu will pop up, Click browser.
Click the open/eject button.
Put the disk in.
Wait for the disk to load
Once it is finished loading click on the disk
On the DVD menu click play and enjoy your movie!

- Someone suggested to turn off the PS4 internet connection and the movies will play.
- Someone gives the direction of updating your PS4 to the newest version 1.52 and then try again.
- Pull out the hdmi cord and plugging it back in when the screen stays black.
